My Home Alone Tasting Experience

Ever since I learned about it on Tiktok, I have always wanted to go to a Taste Film event. Unfortunately, they are based in the UK, so it’s going to require a little extra coordination.

In the meantime, I decided to create my own experience using the movie Home Alone for US Thanksgiving. It was certainly tasty but kind of stressful because I wanted to get the food out hot, and this movie is quite fast paced.

However, if you want to try it for yourself, here is the menu with the associated timestamps. Scroll down for pictures of my experience with some commentary.

Fuller! Go easy on the Pepsi!

As much as I love soda, I don’t do well with caffeine. However, I was pleased to find some caffeine free diet Pepsi that was just as enjoyable!

I made my family disappear!

Party with popcorn! Costco had my succumb to their free sample of G.H. Cretors Cheese and Caramel popcorn.

What money?

As much as I love ice cream, this was a lot to start with!

Eating the sundae reminded me of this clip…

A lovely cheese pizza, just for me!

I didn’t want to order a pizza on Thanksgiving, so I used this recipe and baked one up in my dutch oven.

Bless this highly nutritious, microwaveable macaroni and cheese dinner and the people who sold it on sale. Amen.

And here it is, the least photogenic but the best part of the meal. Mac ‘n Cheese – or as us Canadians call it, Kraft Dinner.  I always forget how delicious it is!

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas

And finally, you end the feast with some milk, cookies and carrots (for the reindeer).
