About Salimah

Salimah is a dynamic leader with over a decade of experience in culture transformation and operational excellence. Born and raised in Toronto, Salimah earned a Master’s in Statistics from the University of Victoria, where she co-authored a published paper on the spectral analysis of resting-state brain activity. She later pursued a Master of Science in Television Production at Boston University, interning with the award-winning talk show The Soup on E! in Los Angeles.

After her stint in Hollywood, Salimah transitioned into operations and culture management, where she discovered her passion for enhancing organizational performance across diverse sectors. From leadership development, healthcare, and education to insurance, finance, and technology, she has worked with organizations to cultivate inclusive, high-performance cultures. Her guiding philosophy is rooted in the belief that operational and cultural excellence begins with strong leadership, clear purpose, and a commitment to core values, supported by systemic processes that ensure these values are lived daily.

Salimah continues guide startups and established organizations to achieve operational efficiency and cultural alignment with key roles such as Head of Operations, Data Analytics Lead and Podcast Producer. Her leadership has extended to producing impactful initiatives such as a 4-day workweek, a diversity education program and implementing anti-racist practices across organizations.

With exceptional skills in leadership, communication, and organizational development, Salimah excels in identifying root causes and eliminating inefficiencies, enabling diverse teams to thrive. Her ability to pinpoint blind spots and create sustainable solutions sets her apart as a problem-solver who fosters meaningful, joyful workplace experiences.

Salimah’s superpower is time management and she uses it to lead a fulfilling life with her hobbies that includes travel (20+ countries and counting!), olympic style weightlifting, running races that promise medals, listening and producing podcasts, participating in pro-Palestine and anti-genocidal actions, completing reading challenges, marathoning comedy tv shows, maintaining platinum status at her local movie theater, frequenting the local arcade and amusement parks, volunteering at her local SPCA, bothering her cat, and go on adventures with her friends and her husband Seth.
