The Role

As an appointed Social Auditor, I collaborate with a team to evaluate the outcomes and long-term impact of programs funded by the Aga Khan and his constituents. This role involves critically assessing how well these initiatives serve their beneficiaries, with the goal of providing actionable insights that inform the improvement of future programs.

Thoughts/Learnings

This experience has reinforced the value of intentional planning and careful assessment prior to launching any initiative. By working with leaders who are often eager to act, I have learned the importance of balancing urgency with strategic foresight. Developing logic models and challenging initial assumptions is essential in ensuring that programs reach their intended outcomes more efficiently and sustainably.
